Since June 1, Dr. Erwin Gabardi officially became the CEO of Volkswagen (Anhui) Co., Ltd., taking full charge of the business strategy and operation management of Volkswagen Anhui, and promoting the accelerated development of Audi ag's electric travel strategy in China.

He has more than 30 years of experience in the automotive industry, covering digital conversion, information technology solutions and data management in factories, logistics and production.

At present, Volkswagen Anhui brand-new MEB factory is under construction in an all-round way, which is also the third pure electric vehicle factory of Audi AG in China. The first model of the new factory will be put into production in the second half of 2023, laying a good foundation for accelerating the development of the Group's electric travel strategy. In addition, Volkswagen Anhui also actively carries out talent training and reserve through a series of talent recruitment activities, and with the help of MEB factory model center and the intensive training programs of the Group's factories all over Europe.
