The renovation of old urban communities built before the end of 2000 has started!

On August 23rd, the Housing and Urban-Rural Development Department of Shanxi Province released the renovation of old urban residential areas in Shanxi Province. At present, it has received 924 million yuan from the central government. By the end of July, 900 houses had been started, and the operating rate was 48.2%.

According to the Action Plan for Renovation of Old Urban Residential Areas in Shanxi Province (202 1-2025) (hereinafter referred to as the Plan), in 2026, the province will newly renovate 1866 old urban residential areas, and by the end of 2025, 770 1 old urban residential areas will be basically renovated.

The "Proposal" clarifies that the old urban residential area refers to the residential area where the city or county (Chengguan Town) was built earlier, the buildings and facilities are old and damaged, the municipal facilities are not perfect, the safety facilities are not complete, the service facilities are not perfect, the living environment is uncomfortable, and the residents have a strong willingness to transform. The key transformation scope is the old city completed before the end of 2000.

The renovation contents include: building energy-saving renovation, rain and sewage diversion renovation, domestic garbage classification and basic renovation of water supply, drainage, power supply, roads, gas supply, heating and fire protection; Beautify the facade of the building, brighten the lights, transform or build new parking lots (garages), and improve the charging facilities of electric vehicles (bicycles); Upgrading of old-age care, health service, convenience market, roof greening and permeable pavement.

In terms of classified management of domestic waste, by the end of July, domestic waste in Taiyuan, Datong, Xinzhou, Yangquan, Changzhi and Jinzhong in Shanxi 1 1 districts and cities had all been burned, achieving zero landfill. Kitchen waste treatment facilities in Taiyuan, Datong, Jinzhong, Changzhi and Jincheng have been built and put into operation.

In addition, Shanxi has expanded the coverage of residential property management, carried out the clean-up operation of residential quarters without property management in districts and cities, and achieved full coverage of property management in residential quarters in built-up areas of districts and cities by the end of this year.
