What does uic mean?

Uic is a joint international college of Beijing Normal University and Hong Kong Baptist University. Founded by Beijing Normal University and Hong Kong Baptist University in Zhuhai City, Guangdong Province, it is the first university jointly established by the mainland of China and the higher education sector in Hong Kong, and has been specially approved by the Ministry of Education.

Beijing Normal University-Hong Kong Baptist University Joint International College is the first university jointly established by the mainland of China and the higher education sector in Hong Kong, and the first liberal arts university in China, located in Zhuhai City, Guangdong Province. In 2005, with the special approval of the Ministry of Education, Beijing Normal University and Hong Kong Baptist University jointly established Beijing Normal University. It teaches in English and its academic level is in line with international standards. The school has four departments of business administration, cultural creativity, humanities and social sciences, science and technology, and a graduate school.
