Disabled parking policy

Legal analysis: The order number11issued by the Ministry of Public Security and the order number later amended 139 determine that the car driven by the disabled is a "small automatic passenger car for the disabled". Parking lots in large and medium-sized public places and large residential areas in cities shall be set up and marked with barrier-free parking spaces in accordance with the standards for the construction of barrier-free facilities. Barrier-free parking spaces are reserved for motor vehicles driven or taken by people with physical disabilities.

Legal basis: Article 4 of the Law of the People's Republic of China on the Protection of Disabled Persons. The state adopts auxiliary means and supportive measures to give special help to disabled persons, reduce or eliminate the impact of disabilities and external obstacles, and ensure the realization of the rights of disabled persons.
