Third, waterproof treatment.

In the past, waterproof materials only needed simple brushing, but now most new waterproof coatings are two-component or even three-component. Therefore, before the construction, we need to know how to configure and what is the proportion of configuration. If it is not blended in proportion, the blended waterproof coating may not achieve the original effect.

Fourth, crack prevention treatment

If there are cracks in the wall, they need to be treated before painting. Generally speaking, kraft paper, dacron cloth, mesh fiber cloth, bandages and other materials. It needs to be pasted on cracked walls, joints between lightweight walls and load-bearing walls, and joints between gypsum boards.

After cleaning the wall surface at the grass-roots level, brushing the interface agent, leveling and cracking prevention, the next step is to brush putty. Ordinary putty powder needs on-site preparation, and the proportion of putty powder and water should be strictly controlled according to the product description. At the same time, stir it as evenly as possible, then let it stand 10 ~ 20 minutes and stir it evenly again before use.

When scraping putty, scrape it with scraper or spatula as usual. When scraping, try to make it fully and evenly attached to the wall, and don't scrape it repeatedly in one step. The thickness of this batch of putty is generally between 0.8 ~ 1.5 mm, and the scraping times should not be too much. Generally, two batches of new houses are enough, and three batches of second-hand houses are better. After each painting, due to the high strength of putty, it should be leveled with a scraper when the putty is in a semi-dry state, and it should be lightly pressed by hand without deformation.

Six, sandpaper grinding

When the putty is dry, sand it with sandpaper. Polishing must be carried out from all sides to the center. Be extra careful when grinding the corners and try to be as straight as possible. Be careful not to grind paper or wear through putty. After the scraper is sanded, the floating dust is cleaned, and the top coat can be directly brushed.

Seven, brush primer

At present, the wall generally needs to be painted with primer. The function of primer is to seal the base, increase adhesion and enhance fullness. Primer must be brushed evenly to ensure that every part of the wall is brushed. If the wall eats a lot of paint, it is best to add a little more water to the primer to ensure uniform brushing.

Eight, besmear brushs top coat

When the primer is dry, it needs to be polished again. After that, paint the top coat. Do not add too much water when preparing topcoat, otherwise it will affect the thickness, feel and hardness of paint film. Top coat is usually brushed twice.
