What is the noise standard for elevators in residential buildings?

The running noise of the elevator is divided into the following categories:

A) noise of traction machine (engine room noise)

The average noise measured at the distance from the traction machine 1m should not be greater than the value specified in the following table. For passenger elevators with rated speed greater than 6.0m/s, the average noise should not be greater than the limit given by the elevator manufacturer. When the enterprise does not give the limit index, it is judged as the limit of 85dB(A).

The rated speed v m/s v m/s v≤2.5, and the average noise value at the rated speed is ≤80dB(A).

2.5 < v ≤ 6.0, and the average noise value at rated speed ≤85dB(A)≤85.

B) opening and closing door noise

The maximum noise value of the electric automatic door of the passenger elevator during normal door opening and closing when the elevator stops should not be greater than 65 dB(A).

C) running noise in the car

For passenger elevators, the noise value in the car during elevator operation should not be greater than the value specified in the following table, and for passenger elevators with rated speed greater than 6.0m/s, the noise value should not be greater than the limit value given by the elevator manufacturer. When the enterprise does not give the limit index, it is judged as 60dB(A).

The rated speed VM/S Vm/S V≤2.5, and the maximum noise value in the vehicle during operation is ≤55dB(A).

2.5 < v ≤ 6.0, and the maximum noise value in the car during operation ≤60dB(A)≤85.
