Regulations of Henan Province on the Reduction and Exemption of Property Fees for Vacant Houses

According to the Measures for the Administration of Property Service Charges, the provisions on the reduction and exemption of property fees for vacant houses in Henan Province are as follows:

1. Whether the property fee of the owner's vacant house is reduced or not needs to be analyzed according to the specific situation.

2. The situation that the property fee of vacant house can be reduced or exempted: if the owner's vacant house has not been occupied or used for more than six months in a row, the property service enterprise can pay the property fee according to 70% of the price agreed in the property service contract after verification.

3. If the owner's vacant house has not been used for more than six months, but has not been informed by the property service enterprise, it shall pay the property service fee in accordance with the contract.

It should be noted that if the property service enterprises in Henan Province fail to verify the situation of vacant houses in accordance with the prescribed procedures, it may constitute a violation to directly reduce the property fees. In addition, if the owner has any objection to the property service enterprise's reduction or exemption of property fees, it can be resolved through consultation or complain to the property administrative department.
