This questionnaire survey is mainly based on the heads of households. Through the inquiry and communication of the respondents, the satisfaction of each water user to each index is obtained, and the score corresponding to each satisfaction is the score of each index in the questionnaire. Secondly, compared with Waterworks B, rural water users in this area have higher satisfaction with Waterworks A and lower satisfaction with Waterworks B. The specific reason is that the water supply scale of Waterworks A is larger than that of Waterworks B, and the facilities of Waterworks A are relatively perfect, which can provide better protection for water users compared with Waterworks B. However, Waterworks B has poor water quality and high water supply cost, which causes water users to pay more attention to it. Therefore, the water satisfaction rate of rural users tends to water plants, and the requirements of water users for the safety of water supply facilities, water quality conditions, emergency services and management also increase with the economic development.
To sum up, some suggestions are put forward for the operation and management of rural drinking water safety projects in the future: First, government departments should give more policy support to those water plants with high cost and small water supply scale in remote areas, and at the same time, we should further strengthen the publicity of paid water use for rural water users and gradually establish and improve the water price mechanism.
