There are several people's courts in Shanghai.

Shanghai Higher People's Court was established on April 30th, 1955, located at No.308, Zhaojiabang Road, Shanghai. The Shanghai Higher People's Court has jurisdiction over the first, second and third intermediate people's courts (intellectual property courts, intermediate courts for railway transportation), maritime courts, financial courts, Shanghai railway transportation courts and other special courts and the 16 District Court. Shanghai Higher People's Court tried the cases of first instance under its jurisdiction according to law; Cases of first instance transferred for trial by lower people's courts; The Supreme People's Court is a case of first instance appointed for trial according to law.

2. Shanghai No.1 Intermediate People's Court

Shanghai No.1 Intermediate People's Court was established on July 2007 1995, 1 on the basis of the former Shanghai Intermediate People's Court. Located at No.0/200, Hongqiao Road, Changning District, it has jurisdiction over seven grass-roots courts, including Pudong Court, Xuhui Court, Minhang Court, Changning Court, Songjiang Court, Fengxian Court and Jinshan Court.

1995, Shanghai Old Intermediate People's Court was demolished and Shanghai No.1 Intermediate People's Court was born. 3. Shanghai No.2 Intermediate People's Court

Shanghai No.2 Intermediate People's Court was formally established in July 1995. The court is located at No.567, Zhongshan North Road, Jing 'an District, Shanghai. There are 20 internal institutions. There are 502 people in the hospital, 495 of whom have bachelor degree or above, accounting for 98.6% of the total number, including doctors 1 1 person and 268 masters, accounting for 55.6% of the total number.

4. Shanghai Railway Transport Intermediate Court

Shanghai Railway Transport Intermediate Court was established in May 1982, June 1 20 12. According to the reform and deployment of the central judicial system, it is separated from the original railway enterprise management model and incorporated into the national unified judicial system, and local management is implemented in Shanghai, led by the Shanghai Municipal Committee and supervised by the Shanghai Municipal People's Congress and its Standing Committee.

5. Shanghai Maritime Court

Shanghai Maritime Court was established in June 1984, located at 567 Yingchun Road, Pudong New Area. Shanghai Maritime Court mainly accepts maritime contract disputes and maritime tort disputes related to ships, transportation, ports and crew at sea and in waters leading to the sea. The Shanghai Maritime Court implements the cross-administrative jurisdiction mode, and the jurisdiction area is the coastal waters of Jiangsu and Shanghai (including Yangshan Deepwater Port and its surrounding waters) and the waters below the Liuhekou of the Yangtze River Channel.
