Does not paying property fees affect credit reporting?

If you are sued for not paying the property fee, it will not affect the credit investigation. The information recorded by the credit reporting agency is different. The parties are sued only because they have not paid the property fee, which is not bad information and will not affect the credit reporting of the parties. However, after the people's court makes a judgment on the property fee, if the party concerned has the ability to pay the property fee but does not pay it, the people's court will include the information of the party concerned in the list of dishonesty. In this case, the credit information of the party concerned will be affected.

Article 53 of the Regulations on Property Management

Owners of residential properties, non-residential properties in residential quarters or non-residential properties connected with a single house shall pay special maintenance funds in accordance with relevant state regulations.

Special maintenance funds shall be owned by the owners, and shall be used exclusively for the maintenance, renewal and transformation of property parts and facilities after the expiration of the property warranty period, and shall not be used for other purposes.

Measures for the collection, use and management of special maintenance funds shall be formulated by the construction administrative department of the State Council in conjunction with the finance department of the State Council.
