In the future, the banks of Dasha River will become the "Riverside New District" of Wafangdian, with a total land area of about 23.52 square kilometers (west to the planned capping beam line, north to the east extension line of the North Ring Road, east to the high-voltage corridor, and south to the east extension line of Wuyi Road), including Xialing District of wafangdian city and Qianyuan and Houyuan Village of Yuantai Town, which can accommodate 6.5438+0.8 million people. It is understood that "Binjiang New District" aims at three points: "urban center new district, waterfront new district along the Yangtze River and cross-city new district in the east", highlighting Dashahe's position as the main vein of Wafangdian's cultural and ecological structure, and promoting the eastern Wafangdian to jump from a value depression to an ecological and cultural highland.

The whole planning will form a spatial development pattern of "one belt and two axes, one heart, two districts and seven groups" on the basis of combing the landscape resources such as Dasha River and mountains.
