Wall decoration is a big project, complicated and trivial. Most wall decoration will leave big or small problems. And after the formal check-in, the wall is also prone to problems. In view of several problems that often appear on the wall, I will provide you with several small methods ~

Wall cracking

There are many reasons for cracks in the wall, which are mainly divided into four types:

1, the construction technology does not pass. For example, where wiring is slotted, the formal process is not taken;

2. Foundation settlement and earthquake occurred on the floor;

3. Informal treatment of thermal insulation wall of building. The insulation wall is spliced piece by piece, and if it is not handled properly, it will also lead to cracking of the wall;

4. There is something wrong with the cement paint layer. For example, the ratio of cement to sand, water content is not in place.

Solution:

In view of the wall cracks caused by slotted wiring and foundation sinking, the construction must be carried out in strict accordance with the working procedure. First, fill the gaps with plastering gypsum, then paste bandages, cloth or kraft paper on the slotted parts or gaps, and then do other basic treatment. Non-standard process does not use kraft paper at all, and it is directly brushed. Over time, cracks will inevitably appear.

Obviously, this kind of hole is caused by mixing garbage in the wall painting stage during construction, and you can see that there are abandoned iron wires in it.

Solution:

Remove the garbage, then level it with cement mortar, and then carefully fill the remaining holes with putty before proceeding to the next decoration project. It is also common for large areas of hollow walls to be hollowed out. If it is a load-bearing wall, it will be unsafe to handle it improperly in the decoration stage.

Wall lifting

Solution:

When decorating, all the paint on the original wall must be scraped off first, and then a layer of wall interface agent is brushed to prevent the putty in the gap from interacting with the new putty. After the "double guarantee" process, other processes will be carried out. In addition, the dust on the wall must also be cleaned up, otherwise there will be bulging and other phenomena.

Moldy wall

During wallpaper construction, if the glue is not completely dried, moisture and air will exist in the wallpaper for a long time, and it will become moldy.

Solution:

Scrape all the existing walls, and then scrape the putty. After the putty is completely dried, use the Fiona Fang diatom mud ecological wall material with long-term formaldehyde purification, mildew and moisture-proof functions. Clean up the moldy wall, dry the wall, roll varnish on the surface, back cover it, then scrape putty and polish it, and finally carry out diatom mud wall construction, which is equivalent to redoing the wall on the original basis.

Dust falling on the wall

The putty layer and latex layer of the outer skin will be lost when it is wet or the quality of its own base material is poor.

Solution:

On the premise of economic prosperity, we can eradicate the bottom material, scrape the putty twice in batches, polish it once, and then use diatom mud for construction, which can properly solve the problem of humidity and reduce the ash drop.

There are white flocs on the wall.

The main reason is that the walls are wet. There are generally two reasons for getting wet: the wall absorbs moisture during decoration construction, or the tide is too high during construction. After a long time, the alkali in cement is exposed from the wall, resulting in caking and wrapping.

Solution:

Do a good job of waterproof layer before construction to ensure that the basic treatment of wall surface is completely dry. In order to prevent the wall from getting damp in rainy season, diatom mud ecological wall material with mildew-proof and moisture-proof function is a more suitable interior wall decoration material.
