The History and Culture of Dongshe Town

Xiao Zhong Cultural Park is located in Xiangtai Village, Dongshe Town, covering an area of 25 mu and designed by Tongji University. The foundation stone of the Cultural Park was laid on September 1 2007, and it is in the stage of backyard greening and front yard interior decoration. The Cultural Park will officially open on June 1 to welcome guests from all over the world. There are historical and cultural sites of loyalty and filial piety, deeds of the "Family of Loyalty and Filial Piety", hundreds of general books about loyalty and filial piety, stone carvings of 24 filial piety stories in ancient China, and other buildings. In addition, albums, CDs and hidden stickers of Zhongxiao Garden will be produced. Upon completion, Xiaozhongyuan will integrate revolutionary tradition education, patriotism education and moral standard education, and become a high-style and high-grade ideological education base. On July 2 1, Vice Mayor Zhang Yifeng and other leaders went to Dongshe to investigate and inspect the construction of the cultural park. Affirmed the purpose and planning of the Cultural Park, and demanded to speed up the pace of construction, ensure that the Cultural Park will open as scheduled, and develop Xiao Zhong Cultural Park into a boutique tourist attraction and a first-class ideological and cultural education base.
