Development of xidian university National University Science Park

The development of Xidian Science Park is divided into three stages:

The first stage (2002-2006)-the initial stage of construction. In May 2002, xidian university Science Park was established. The school has made a master plan for the Science Park, set up a management organization, and attracted a number of high-tech enterprises and talents to settle in the Science Park.

The second stage (2006-2008)-rapid growth stage. Taking the successful application for the National University Science Park as an opportunity, the construction of each branch park has been continuously promoted and the functions of the park have been continuously improved. At the same time, we will strive to promote the construction of various platforms such as intermediary services, technology research and development, scientific and technological entrepreneurship, investment and financing, talent gathering, and scientific and technological cooperation.

The third stage (2008-)-the stage of development and perfection. Further improve the innovation and entrepreneurship environment of the science park, and enhance and expand the brand effect of the science park.

Xidian Science and Technology Park actively carries out foreign exchanges and expands the space for foreign development. Xidian Science Park has successively cooperated with Xinjiang High-tech Development Zone, Kunshan Municipal Government, Bengbu Municipal Government and CLP Industrial Park Co., Ltd. in technology transfer and personnel training.

During the Twelfth Five-Year Plan period, Xidian Science and Technology Park will continue to play the role of National University Science and Technology Park in scientific and technological innovation, transformation of scientific and technological achievements, incubation of high-tech enterprises, gathering and training of innovative and entrepreneurial talents, and radiation catalysis of high-tech industries, and strive to improve the functions and supporting service system of the Science and Technology Park. At the same time, relying on xidian university's academic advantages, combined with national policies on information, new energy and other related industries, we will focus on accelerating the transformation of scientific and technological achievements in the fields of communications, electronics, computers, control, instrumentation, mechatronics, optoelectronics, etc., and incubating and cultivating more high-tech enterprises with independent intellectual property rights and other core competitiveness; Integrate all resources in the existing park, optimize the allocation, expand the scale, increase the output value, improve profits, double the overall investment scale, output value and profits within three years, and focus on cultivating 3-5 enterprises to list on the Growth Enterprise Market, making greater contributions to regional economic development and the construction of high-level universities.
