Classification of national construction departments

The Ministry of Construction is the Ministry of Housing and Urban-Rural Development.

Internal organs of the Ministry of Housing and Urban-Rural Development 15:

(1) general office.

(4) Housing security department.

To formulate housing security policies and guide their implementation; To undertake matters related to the central low-rent housing fund arrangement; Organize the preparation of housing security development plans and annual plans and supervise their implementation.

(5) Urban and Rural Planning Department.

To formulate policies and rules and regulations for urban and rural planning; To organize the formulation of the national urban system planning and supervise its implementation; Guide the preparation of urban and rural planning and supervise the implementation; Guide urban survey, municipal engineering survey, urban underground space development and utilization and urban sculpture; To undertake the review, approval and implementation supervision of the overall urban planning and provincial urban system planning assigned by the State Council; To undertake the protection, supervision and management of historical and cultural cities (towns and villages); Formulate qualification standards for urban and rural planning units and supervise their implementation.
