Why don't more and more people make takeaway brothers?

Making takeout is a life experience, and I am very grateful for this experience!

At the most confused time, there is no job and no source of income. I chose Meituan take-away deliveryman. /kloc-joined in July, 0/8, and resigned at the end of February, 0/8, working for less than half a year!

In fact, when I first joined the US Mission, I was still full of expectations. What I long for is a seemingly good income. I was completely lost because of the failure of business at that time. I really need a job so that I can earn money to live. Being a takeaway brother really solved my problem, and more work and more pay.

I am in a small city with four lines, and you can get four yuan for each ticket. I set myself the goal of running 50 tickets every day, that is, earning 200 yuan every day. But the first day, I found the problem. My electric car ran for more than 20 votes and died, so I had to rent an electric car from Meituan for eight yuan a day! In this way, I drove two electric cars from morning till night, barely finishing the task.

Being a takeaway brother is very stressful. The first thing to do when you get up every morning is to check your mobile phone. Do you have any bad reviews? If you do this, you will be fined. Half a day's efforts will be in vain. If you don't want to get bad reviews, first of all, you should deliver them on time. Because of this, I can see a traffic accident every day! There is no way, the specified time is there. If you don't drive fast and don't run the red light, all you get is lateness, bad reviews and fines! So running around every day is very dangerous!

In addition, I think the reason for the high turnover rate of takeaway is that you will never see hope. You will earn money after a day's work. If you are ill, you will have nothing. When you can't run! You find that you have learned nothing.

When I was in the Meituan, people asked my mother what your children do, and my mother would say, sitting at home, I think it really makes her lose face!

Therefore, the price of each order is low now, and it is not respected. The company is inhuman to the rider and imposes a lot of fines, which will make people unable to persist in the future!

Let me talk about my point of view.

I am a rider of the Meituan take-out crowdsourcing platform in Pudong New Area, Shanghai. I've been in the business for 2 years, and I won't go home this year.

Here in Shanghai, it's ugly to run a takeaway.

At noon 10: 30 to 13: 00, one 7 yuan on average.

From 13 to 17, the average is one 5 yuan.

From 17 to 19, a single average 6 yuan.

19 to 2 1: 05.

2 1 to 0, average 6 yuan.

50 a day, 300 yuan.

Don't look at 300 yuan, which is a lot.

Food and shelter come first, from 3,000 to 4,000 per month.

The traffic police fined heavily.

I paid a fine in 800 yuan last month.

The customers are very good and the quality here in Shanghai is also very high.

But! Running again is purely risking your life.

Quit, quit

It takes 12 hours to run in 300 yuan, which is very tiring.

To tell you the truth, I'm still delivering takeout, but I feel worse and worse.

Price: Delivery began in May last year. At that time, when I was hungry, I specially delivered takeout. Later, express delivery became more and more difficult. Go out for a run in August (send it if you are hungry). At that time, the starting price for delivering a single takeaway was 5-6 yuan, and it rose to 7 yuan when it rained. Generally speaking, I can run in the morning11–1. However, this year's starting price in 4 yuan will probably not increase under light rain. The price difference of each order is around 2 yuan.

Quantity: You can usually run 16-20 in the rush hour yesterday morning, 15-20 in the evening and 30-40 in a day. Even a first-level novice can take 8- 10 orders at a time (the first-level novice can take up to 3 orders). Generally, you don't answer it. The platform stipulates how many orders you run every week, and bonuses are paid according to your level, that is income or ok. There are no orders on the platform at present. We are all waiting for the system to send the order, and the order for climbing the seventh and eighth floors will run away. At the end of the day, I will run15–20, which is the first half of the day, and there is no reward every week.

Platform: There were many orders last year, and the platform requirements were not so strict. The customer changed the address, the number is wrong, and the location is wrong! Just place an abnormal order and return the meal to the merchant. Now the platform is better for customers, and all the previous ones should be sent now. In many communities, customers only write a few buildings and units, never write a few floors and then call the seventh floor. This is annoying. As long as you write clearly from the beginning, you won't run away after receiving this order.

Personnel and time: last year, one person could not run, and the delivery time was long, so everyone was very relaxed. There are too many takeaways now, and the take-away threshold is low. Anyone who has an electric car can send it, which leads to more and more people entering this industry. It's the off-season, and if the merchants don't update those dishes, customers will not taste good if they eat too much. There are too many people, and it's no fun to send them.

Season: Now the weather is not hot, and everyone likes to eat out, so there are fewer takeaways, and the little takeaway brother has no orders, so many people leave the industry.

There is also the fact that there are more and more takeaway brothers who are caught driving illegally by the traffic police, and they are likely to be caught on the road, so they are unwilling to send takeaway.

I know this problem better. The colleague I work with is a part-time delivery man. He works during the day, is in his thirties, and delivers takeout in the afternoon or evening. If he's fine, maybe one night in 50 yuan. Last Saturday, he didn't go to work all day, and only saw off 160 yuan (until 6 o'clock). The price of each order is different. Our prices here are not high. Farther away from 6 yuan, the price will be higher, but last time I sent 50% overtime freight. Personal advice: don't send takeout if you have a job. Most of them are part-time jobs! It's not much different from going to work every month. It's windy and rainy.

Let me answer this question, because I have been a take-away crowdsourcing brother. I think there are several reasons.

At the beginning, remember to subsidize 2 yuan for each single platform. If the peak period is 1 yuan, there will be a lot of simple subsidies. And at that time, 2 kilometers was usually 4.5 yuan. Then the peak orders are basically above 7.5.

But now the platform subsidy is only 1 yuan, and the unit price of 2 kilometers is basically 3.5 yuan, so it can be said that each order reduces 2 yuan's income. If the order is issued 15 in the peak period, it will be 30 yuan less. A month is almost 1000.

At first, the single delivery distance of crowdsourcing was generally within 3 km, but the delivery cost of 3 km has reached 6 yuan (not counting all kinds of subsidies). But now 6 yuan is basically 4 kilometers. Of course, many people may say that hundreds of meters will arrive soon, but if each order exceeds 2 minutes, then the overall distribution will definitely be less.

At the beginning, crowdsourcing delivery time was sufficient, the shortest time was 45 minutes, and now it is 37 minutes. Moreover, merchants often place orders for riders within 0 minutes after receiving orders, and riders can only wait for meals and open channels. When you cancel the call, you call the customer service. At that time, the merchants basically prepared the meal, so you still had to deliver it, because the customer service contacted the merchants and said that the meal had just been delivered, so you could only accept it. The rider is like the lowest floor.

Electric cars are not allowed on the road in many places. 50 yuan was fined once every time he was investigated, and sometimes he was often inspected. In addition, there is a risk of theft of their own electric vehicles. So many times it is the rider's helplessness.

To sum up briefly, the income of each order is reduced, the delivery time is reduced, and the assessment is becoming more and more strict. As long as the user votes, the rider basically has no chance of success. So the rider was forced to make all kinds of violations. With the increase of personal danger, there are fewer and fewer natural persons.

After the new year, I heard that many takeaway brothers went on strike. At first, I was confused. Why doesn't this industry make so much money? I didn't know why until I watched the news.

First, there is no subsidy for the long distance, so that many takeaway brothers ran seven or eight kilometers and only earned a delivery fee of 4 kilometers.

Second: Complaints about bad reviews make the money earned by takeaway brothers wasted. Every time I complain, this order is not only for nothing, but also for a lot of money.

Third, the difficulty of residential property. Some time ago, there was a news that the take-out was one yuan at a time, but the original single take-out was 5-6 yuan. I ran this neighborhood several times a day, but I just ran away that day and didn't make any money.

Fourth: electric vehicles are illegal on the road and there are no formal distribution tools. In some places, electric vehicles should also be inspected, and unqualified ones are not allowed to go on the road. In addition, the electric car itself has the risk of being stolen, so it is often the helplessness of the rider.

So now more and more people don't want to be takeaway brothers, and they don't make money by running hard!

Let me answer this question. To tell the truth, it's getting harder and harder to deliver takeout now. When I first entered the business in June this year, the lowest unit price was four yuan. At the beginning, I was very passionate and motivated. Running more than 30 orders a day can earn more than 200. Now, the unit price is lower, and the lowest unit price is three and a half yuan. Every time I look at this unit price, I feel very tired and have no motivation.

Now, I only get 100 yuan for running hard all day. Driving in reverse every day at the risk of being caught by the traffic police, risking your life to run a red light is to win a few minutes without overtime, because once you work overtime, you will be deducted and your complaints will not come back. If a single order is already a few dollars, then deducting overtime pay is basically a free gift. Now crowdsourcing orders are also specially delivered to us, or there are many far orders. So am I now.

It shows that the competition of takeaway riders is already fierce. At the earliest time, it was quite easy for riders to earn more than 10 thousand yuan a month. But it's hard now.

The first income is getting less and less.

The second requirement is to increase.

Third, more and more young people want to learn some skills instead of running errands.

The fourth security problem is particularly serious. Electric cars are strictly checked in some places. Every day, a takeaway brother encounters traffic safety problems. To put it bluntly, it is to distribute with life.

I understand that more and more people are no longer riders, and only those who have done it know the hardships they have gone through.

But distribution is indeed a trend, so I choose a small auto parts store as a community and do my own distribution. The customer base is fixed and the income is gratifying. Every month, I upload my entrepreneurial video every day. Interested friends can watch my @ jingjingjingjing video ~

Although I don't run takeout, I know it's really not easy to make takeout. I remember/kloc-at the end of 0/7, my friends and I went to a takeaway shop near the railway station. At that time, a young man delivered a takeaway and ordered one. I don't remember what I ordered. He said how long it would take to get it, and then he left. After about ten or twenty minutes, the young man came to get the takeaway he ordered. Probably, the young man was in a hurry and said a rude word. At that time, the proprietress was in front of him, and then she replied to him. As a young man, he is willing. Then you said something, and when she finished saying it, she began to move. In this case, the young man can't bargain. After a while, the young man had to take delivery. At that time, the store was really busy, and it took nearly half an hour to make it for him. How can I put it? The young man was beaten and finally had to wait to send this bill. It is really not easy for them to make a living. They have to suffer indignities at both ends, and there are security risks on the way back and forth, and the time is long. This is really not easy!

A friend has been a US group rider for almost two years. Let me share it with you.

He just left the industry at the end of last year. Why did he persist for so long or give up?

First, wages have not risen, but have fallen. 2065438+joined the US Mission in June 2006. At that time, wages were calculated by the bill, and the more you ran, the higher the commission. Now a single sum of money is calculated by distance. Although this may be beneficial to the better distribution of near and far orders, the actual salary after one month is far from before.

Second, the problem of rules and regulations can still be done with less effort. As a result, after several months, the average delivery time was shortened from 45 minutes to 37 minutes. You may think that you can't do anything in these eight minutes, but it is fatal for a takeaway. In the past, I basically didn't work overtime every month, so it was easy to get an extension award. Now there are dozens of overtime sheets every month, and sometimes they are given away at noon.

Third, there is no job with dignity. Due to the severe fine imposed by the US Mission, a bad review of 50 and complaints of 300 made the rider have to be cautious in delivering food. We can often see the video of the takeaway brother being beaten and crying on the Internet. When a guest asks you to buy cigarettes, you have to buy cigarettes, and when you are asked to take out the garbage, you have to take out the garbage. As a takeaway, you can be looked down upon by anyone, even yourself.

Fourth, there is no room for development in the future. Delivering food day after day will only destroy your will. Some people will say that it costs more than 10 thousand a month to deliver takeout food, not to mention the ideal of life. What I want to say is that there are certainly people who earn more than 10,000 yuan a month, but very few. Even if he can play like this now, will he survive in a few years? When you want to change careers, you will find that you can do nothing but deliver food.

After such a long delivery, there is nothing left except a little money.

At the beginning of this year, he switched to sales with a basic salary of only 3,000 yuan, but he felt that he had done the right thing.
