Remote meter reading technology and its implementation method

Remote meter reading refers to a system that uses microelectronics, computer network, sensing and other technologies to automatically read and process electric meter data and comprehensively process water, electricity and gas information of urban residents. Automatic meter reading technology enables water, electricity and gas companies and property management departments to fundamentally solve the troubles caused by home meter reading fees to users and meter readers and avoid many unnecessary disputes.

At present, the most common way is to adopt the centralized meter reading method of branch line system, that is, the water, electricity and gas meter signals of multiple branch lines are collected regularly and sequentially by the collector, and the data are processed and stored. The collector is connected through the bus system and finally connected to the computer.
