Introduction of Taizhou Huangyan Pure Earth Temple Tower?

Jingtu Temple Tower, also known as Tower, is located in Nanruiyan Village, northwest of Yangzhen Town, huangyan district City, Taizhou City. This tower is about fifteen kilometers away from the imperial city. Now it is a provincial cultural relics protection unit.

The Jingtu Temple Tower was built between the Yuan Dynasty and the first year (in the 30th year of the Yuan Dynasty, 1293). It is a five-story brick tower with a pavilion-like building structure on six sides. The tower is thirteen meters high. The tower body is divided layer by layer from bottom to top, and the foundation of the tower body is square stones. There is a pointed arch door on each side of the ground floor, and a door-shaped niche on each side of the above floors. The water chestnut tooth broke out of the eaves and the tower gate was disabled. The tower leans to the west and the tower foundation is damaged. Repaired in 2004, only reinforced.

The tower of Jingtu Temple was lost in the county annals. The tower brick reads "Yan Rui Temple was built by monks" and the words "Yuan Gui four years" are written. It was originally designated as Yuangui Temple, which was built in Yuan Shizu for thirty years (1293). The original temple behind the Yan Rui Pagoda was built in the Tang Dynasty, and it was named Yan Rui Jingtu Temple, which was abandoned in the Qing Dynasty. In the early Ming Dynasty, Japanese monks lived here.

Jingtu Temple Pagoda is one of the few pavilion-style brick pagodas in Yuan Dynasty in Zhejiang Province, which is of great significance for studying the development of ancient pagodas. 1985 165438+ October Tower was announced as a county-level cultural relics protection unit. 1997 was announced as a cultural relic protection unit in Zhejiang province on August 29th.
