I am a residential property electrician. I just took office. The corridor light switch always trips. It should not be a short circuit, but how to check the leakage of corridor lights on the sixth floor? There is no leakage in lighting, which may be because the lighting circuit is bitten by a mouse or the phase line of the circuit is grounded. If there is no leakage, there is something wrong with your micro-break.

Solution:

1. Measure the grounding resistance. After cutting off the power supply, remove all the lights, and then measure the grounding resistance of the phase line and the zero line. After it is found, measure it in sections to detect the recovery of insulation everywhere (if it is inside the wall, replace this line or replace it with other lines);

If it is broken, replace it with a new one.

3. Look at the lamp holder of each floor, is it caused by short circuit between phase line and zero line? If yes, it can be restored or replaced with a new one;
