What is animation design?

Animation design mainly studies film and television animation design and production, advanced design and synthesis of game characters, advertising special effects animation design, post-film special effects, digital hand-drawing of cartoon modeling, interactive 3D scene game design, film and television clip output and packaging.

Animation design can be divided into 2D and 3D categories:

The first is 2D animation design. The positions are divided into cartoonist, illustrator and original painter.

Theory needs to learn audio-visual language, human body structure, color matching, shot script, sketch, various painting styles and so on.

Software needs to learn Photoshop, Substance Painter, SAI, After Effects, Flash, etc.

The positions of 3D animation design include modeler, animator, renderer, material engineer, special effects engineer, post-typesetter and editor.

Theoretical knowledge needs to learn the production process of movies and games, audio-visual language, motion law, twelve rules of animation and so on.
