First, no project experience. This is a dead hole. At present, companies or research institutes recruit people on the basis of whether their major is right or not and whether they have actual project experience. Because the direction of the project has always been theoretical, many companies are reluctant to spend all their money on a doctor who they think is of slow value. The positioning of doctors in companies or research institutes is very different from that of master's or undergraduate students, hoping to recruit doctors to make breakthroughs in cutting-edge technology, so doctors without project experience are at a disadvantage. Here, I also want to remind all the students who are studying for a PhD. On the basis of cultivating their innovative ability, it is better to do some practical projects, so that the job will be easier to find.

Second, there is no clear career planning and job hunting goals. Although I majored in mechanical engineering, I am very interested in software computers and have accumulated a lot of knowledge in this field. When I submitted my resume, I invested in both machinery and software. I am not sure what industry I will enter and what direction I will do in the future. I got a written test opportunity from Baidu, but I didn't care at that time. Busy with the doctoral project, naked written test. Third, looking for a job in the early stage is too optimistic and picky. The employment situation this year is better than last year. As for recruitment information, I only pay attention to campus recruitment, and only limit my work place to the Yangtze River Delta region, and go to R&D centers or research institutes of big companies. I have high expectations for salary and treatment, so I missed the recruitment of many companies.

Fourth, the written test and interview preparation are not sufficient. After several written interviews, I have accumulated some experience, and at the same time I have some understanding of what kind of people the company or research institute needs. Generally, foreign companies need to introduce their research work in English PPT first, which takes about 5 ~ 10 minutes, and there are 30 minutes of questions and answers, basically in English. Some domestic research institutes will also need to introduce their work with PPT and then answer. The content of PPT should reflect the research or project experience suitable for the corresponding position of the applicant, and the so-called technology is the so-called.
