Train D2809 starts from Guiyang North Station, passes through Longli North, Sandu County, Congjiang, Guilin West, Gongcheng, Zhongshan West, Hezhou and Zhaoqing East, and ends at Guangzhou South Station.

On June 4th, at around 0: 30/kloc-0, the D2809 passenger train from Guiyang North to Guangzhou South ran into a mudslide that suddenly slipped into the line when it was running at the entrance of Qianyuezhai Tunnel at the entrance of Rongjiang Station of Guiguang Railway, resulting in derailment of No.7 and No.8 cars, resulting in injuries to 1 driver, 1 conductor and seven passengers. Among them, the train driver was killed.

On June 5, after nearly 2 1 hour efforts by rescue forces from all sides, Rongjiang Station of Guiguang Line was rushed through and Guiguang Line resumed normal operation.

According to public information, Rongjiang Station is located in Rongjiang County, Qiandongnan Miao and Dong Autonomous Prefecture, Guizhou Province. It is a third-class station under the jurisdiction of China Railway Chengdu Bureau Group Co., Ltd., and a station set up by Guiguang High-speed Railway in Rongjiang County, about 3 kilometers away from the county seat. The station started construction on February 30th, 20 13, put into trial operation in August, 20 14, and was officially completed and put into use on February 26th, 20 14.
