3. Lead by example and strengthen the role of trade unions.

As the chairman of the school union, I know very well that the school union organization should have four functions: rights protection, construction, participation and education. Over the past semester, with the strong support of the school's party and government leaders, the school union has actively organized faculty and staff to participate in various activities organized by the school union, and has carried out many useful cultural, sports and educational activities based on the actual situation of the school, which has greatly enriched the teaching staff Their spare time life has enhanced the cohesion of school staff and effectively promoted the development of school education, teaching, teaching research and management. Here, I simply summarize some of my personal thoughts and specific practices:

1. Leaders pay attention, the organization is sound, and funding is guaranteed. The party and government leaders of our school attach great importance to trade union work. They not only provide correct guidance on methods and provide strong support in the use of funds, but also often personally participate in various trade union activities. The school trade union has a sound organization, with 7 trade union members, with a clear division of labor, each responsible for their own responsibilities, and sincere unity and close cooperation.

2. Speak and act for faculty and staff and safeguard their legitimate rights and interests.

At the fourth session of the Teachers' Congress, *** collected 85 suggestions and opinions, and reported the situation to the school many times and served the staff. Faculty representatives spoke enthusiastically at the Teachers' Congress and proactively offered suggestions for the development of the school. ; On every major festival day, souvenirs or group activities must be distributed; every year, faculty and staff are organized to visit and study; they care about the lives of faculty and staff, and when faculty and staff are sick, they express condolences with the school party and government members. 3. Actively participate in school democratic management and supervision. At present, the disclosure of various school affairs in schools has become a system. The union chairman often attends school leadership team meetings and participates in major school decisions. Through everyone's efforts, the transparency of school affairs has been improved, the ownership and legitimate rights and interests of faculty and staff have been guaranteed, and cohesion and combat effectiveness have been enhanced.

4. Carry out cultural and sports activities to enrich the spare time life of faculty and staff. This semester, we cooperated with the Political and Education Office and the Sports Group to organize a men's and women's volleyball competition for school staff.

5. Assist schools to improve the ideological education of faculty and staff. The trade union has vigorously assisted the school party and government in strengthening the ideological education of faculty and staff and the construction of teacher ethics. In particular, the trade union has played an active supporting role in implementing the "Outline for the Construction of Citizen Morality" and strengthening the education of the socialist concept of honor and disgrace.

4. There are deficiencies.

First, although there has been some progress in the study of political theory, it is still not deep and broad.

Secondly, the transactional work is complicated and reduces research opportunities, making it impossible to further improve one's writing ability.

Third, when it comes to the work of the trade union chairman, I personally think very carefully, but the implementation is not sufficient and solid enough. Sometimes I have some selfish thoughts, thinking that the main leader does not pay attention to it, so why should I be anxious? This is actually not true.
