What is the main job of the test driver in the automobile factory?

The test driver's job is more to simulate all the actions that users usually do, and to check whether automobile parts and equipment will fail. Every test needs to be repeated, and every day, the whole test process needs to be repeated. In order to find out the parts that may fail, it often takes a long time and is repeated countless times. Test drivers are very strict about speed, and most tests have unique speed requirements, which makes the test drivers have to control the speed very accurately. Need to practice often, and finally when it comes to the exam, you can't watch the instrument drive to the required speed, and the error needs to be kept within plus or minus 2 km/h.

The main work of the test driver in the automobile factory is as follows:

1, exquisite inspection preparation

At the beginning of each test and at the time of shift change, detailed vehicle inspection should be carried out, including safety inspection and operation inspection. You also need to check the details of the vehicle appearance. (1) Tire inspection (2) Oil inspection (3) Appearance inspection

2. Durability test

The durability test method is to drive on the special durability road according to the specified number of cycles, and whether the mechanical parts work normally is the test content.

When measuring the durability, the vehicle will use the water man, sandbags or lead blocks as the weight load, and adopt the form of full load, and the roof is equipped with a simulated counterweight, so as to be as close as possible to the actual use of the vehicle.

The content of the test is to repeatedly drive on these specific obstacles, listen to abnormal sounds, and check whether there are any parts that fail or leak oil. This is the verification of the previous design and development work. And some traffic rules need to be observed during the test.

If any problems are found during the test, the test driver will record them immediately and modify them immediately after the test. Only when there is a serious problem will the car stop immediately and the technicians will solve the problem. General problems can be solved within 24 hours.

3. Climbing test

This test will check the logic problem of transmission upshift in automatic transmission models. If the gearbox can't intelligently "guess" the relationship between the stroke depth of the accelerator pedal, the vehicle speed and the vehicle speed, there will be a wrong upshift or the power transmission will not be smooth. This test is to climb a slope at different speeds.

4, wading test

It mainly tests the sealing performance and wading performance of the vehicle, especially whether the layout of the engine air inlet is reasonable. The test vehicle will rush down the slope and enter the pool at a speed of 20km/h. ..

5. Lighting test of headlight group.

The lighting angle of the lamp group needs to be adjusted according to the vehicle load. In the lighting test, the reflection points are arranged at 5m, 10m, 20m, 40m, 50m, 90m and 100m away from the center of the car, and then detected by a hand-held illuminance detector.

6. Rollover prevention test

Before the test starts, all the electronic systems of the vehicle will be turned off, and then the vehicle will increase its speed to the speed specified in the test in the acceleration zone. After arriving at the dynamic test site, the steering wheel will rotate 200 degrees to the left or right under the control of the steering robot, that is, the steering wheel will rotate half a turn.

During the test, the tester is responsible for controlling the intervention opportunity of the steering robot and observing the vehicle trajectory, while the tester in the passenger seat is responsible for data collection and analysis.

Generally speaking, a test team consists of 2-3 test drivers,/kloc-0 technicians who are also team leaders,/kloc-0 maintenance workers and a logistics maintenance team composed of several people.

Testers are divided into four levels: A, B, C and D. D is a novice, and their work scope is only the simple work of putting the test vehicle on the test bench. Class C can test vehicles on ordinary roads, Class B can test some special projects, and Class A is the highest-level tester, who can test any project.

Test drive is usually divided into road test drive-that is, driving on the road.

Field test drive-refers to professional test drive and experience the performance of the car.

Another method is: consumer test drive and professional media test drive. There is a difference between the two. The main body of the former is consumers, and the main purpose of the test drive is to experience the performance of the car and make reference for buying a new car. The main purpose of professional test drive is to provide vehicle evaluation report and provide more detailed and professional information for vehicle performance research and consumers.
