Nanyang TV Station was established on May 1, 1985. It now has 333 formal employees, 80 of whom have a college degree or above, and more than one-third have intermediate or senior professional titles.

Nanyang TV currently has four channels, namely comprehensive news channel, economic and life channel, science, education and legal channel and graphic information channel (CUTV Central Plains Broadcast Platform). The main self-run columns include "Nanyang News Network", "Wandu Broadcast", "10 Minutes Tonight", "Focus on Business Style", "Political Questions", "Rural Travel", "Frontier", "Rule of Law Time", " "Tian Tian Shang Shang" and so on.
