Does Yangpu in Hainan belong to Haikou City?

Although Yangpu in Hainan is located in Haikou City, Yangpu is not subordinate to Haikou City in administrative division. Yangpu is under the jurisdiction of Danzhou City, Hainan Province, and is a part of Danzhou Yangpu Economic and Technological Development Zone. Yangpu Economic and Technological Development Zone is a state-level economic development zone established by the China Municipal Government, which is located in the south of Hainan Island. It has an important strategic position in economic development and industrial layout, and has independent administrative management and development planning.
