After inquiry and enterprise investigation, the mine started construction on 1970, formerly known as 4 14 mine, and 1972 was named Yichun Tantalum-Niobium Mine. Yichun Tantalum-Niobium Mine, a national large (second) enterprise and a national second-class measurement unit, is the largest tantalum-niobium mining and dressing enterprise and raw material production base of tantalum-niobium-lithium in China at present.
