Meihekou city Central Hospital (Aimin Hospital), founded in 1948, is a three-level first-class general hospital integrating medical treatment, scientific research, teaching, rehabilitation and first aid. It is an affiliated hospital of Jilin Medical College, a teaching hospital of Yanbian University and Beihua University, a standardized training base for the first batch of residents in Jilin Province, a friendly cooperative hospital of Wilzburg Hospital in Germany and Fatima Hospital in Daegu, South Korea. There were more than 550,000 outpatient visits, more than 30,000 hospital discharges and more than 9,000 operations.
