The origin of Huangcheng Citrus is Deqing County, Zhaoqing City, Guangdong Province.

In 2007, the planting area of Emperor Citrus in Deqing County was 8200hm2, and the output was about 70,000 tons.

Deqing County was awarded the title of "China Economic Forest China Digan Town" in 2004, and was awarded the "Digan Certificate of Origin" by the State Quality Supervision Bureau in the same year. Deqing Imperial Citrus was awarded the titles of "China Famous Fruit" and "Guangdong Famous Brand Product", and was approved as "Certificate of Registered Trademark of Origin" by the State Trademark Office.
