Brief introduction of Jiangsu coastal iron and steel group

Lianyungang iron and steel base construction is an important part of Jiangsu coastal development strategy. The "one body and two wings" consisting of Xuwei Port, Ganyu Port and Guannan Duigou Port is the main carrier of steel base construction. As an important measure to speed up the construction of Lianyungang Iron and Steel Base, the newly established Jiangsu Coastal Iron and Steel Group has five core enterprises, namely Lianyungang Xingxin Iron and Steel Co., Ltd., Jiangsu Xinxin Special Steel Material Co., Ltd., Jiangsu Hongtai Iron and Steel Co., Ltd., Danyang Longjiang Iron and Steel Co., Ltd. and Wuxi Xinsanzhou Special Steel Co., Ltd., with fixed assets of more than 20 billion yuan, involving steel, real estate, commerce, logistics, food, investment, guarantee and other fields. Wu Lisheng, member of the Standing Committee of the Municipal Party Committee, introduced that Jiangsu Coastal Iron and Steel Group is an important measure for our city to respond to Jiangsu's coastal development plan, utilize the advantages of our 300,000-ton waterway and Xu Wei's vast industrial hinterland, integrate the steel industry resources in coastal areas and optimize the steel industry structure. With the help of this platform, Lianyungang Iron and Steel Base will strive to achieve the goal of steel output value exceeding 100 billion yuan ahead of schedule through three years of construction.
