Nowadays, the concept of "listening to things outside the window and reading only sage books" has become a thing of the past, and contemporary college students are no longer confined to the narrow space in the ivory tower. They always want to lean out and see the wonderful world outside. Part-time job is undoubtedly a good way to achieve this goal, and even forms a trend on campus. According to the survey, nine out of ten college students have had part-time experience or plans. This reflects the change of contemporary college students' ideas under the impact of the economic tide.

If you get rich, just see the world. There are two purposes for college students to work: to earn some money to enrich their pockets or to increase social practice and exercise themselves.

Li, a student in the Department of International Trade, comes from a poor mountainous area. Because of his poor family, he started a part-time career in high school, which can be described as long service and rich experience. As soon as he entered the university, he found two jobs, and he will find another part-time job on holidays such as May Day and National Day. As for the long vacation in winter and summer vacation, he won't miss the opportunity. This classmate said frankly: When I first started working, my heart was quite empty. I was afraid that I would delay my studies if I didn't handle it well, so I had to bite the bullet and go. It took me a long time to find out that, in fact, working part-time is not a mistake I imagined, and it has been handled well and my study has not declined. My ability has been exercised, and I have earned enough tuition and living expenses, which is quite substantial.

There are also some students who work for a simpler purpose-to increase their social experience and practical ability. Xiao Wang, a student of Tourism Management Department, admits that he has no job yet, but he has plans to work, because we are facing increasingly fierce social competition. With the expansion of enrollment, the unemployment rate with high academic qualifications is gradually increasing. It can be seen that in the near future, education will no longer be the main bargaining chip in determining employment, and practical ability will be paid more and more attention. More contact with society and more experience in social affairs will be a rare capital in the future employment competition.

It is not easy to work without success. The bizarre and changeable society is not the simplicity and aestheticism of the university campus at all. Therefore, for college students who are not deeply involved in the world, it is not as easy as imagined. Due to lack of experience, the result is that working does not prevent cheating; Poor time management leads to work and study; On the contrary, impure opportunities will destroy the future ... this is also a misunderstanding that college students are easy to walk into when they work.

A brother who asked not to be named told the author. Last summer vacation, he applied for a job in an employment agency downtown after seeing an advertisement. After asking him some information, the other party persuaded him to pay the 30 yuan registration fee, 10 yuan information fee and 300 yuan payment. He thinks, "I can't bear to part with my children, but I can't catch a wolf." He paid these expenses cruelly and got a batch of goods. As a result, things could not be sold at all. Because they look beautiful, but they are defective and can't be used at all. When he brought the goods back to the employment agency for justice, the staff denied it. The irreversible lesson of such a job reminds us to be vigilant when applying for a job.

According to the survey, some students are eager to work, and the jobs they find are often unrelated to their majors, even manual labor or handing out leaflets. On the one hand, they didn't exercise their ability, on the other hand, they delayed their studies.

Part-time job: think twice before you act. College students cannot be confined to the campus. They must get in touch with society and understand it. However, they have to be wary of being infected by the bad atmosphere of society and prevent them from entering the misunderstanding of work. So it is necessary for college students to think twice. After collecting most teachers' suggestions, I think the following three suggestions can be used for reference.

First, "part-time job" can't give up studying. The first identity of college migrant workers is students, so when we deal with part-time jobs and study, we should focus on learning, supplemented by part-time jobs. Many students have reversed their priorities and even completely abandoned their professional knowledge for work, resulting in neglect of their studies, lack of knowledge and even being persuaded to quit. This result is not worth the loss.

Second, "working" should be for "ability" rather than "profit". Earning money is indeed one purpose of work, but it should not be the only purpose. For college students, if they can use part-time job to increase their social ability, it is undoubtedly an intangible wealth, but it is best to combine "part-time job" with their professional related work. For example, a senior student in the Department of Tourism Management consciously won an internship in a travel agency at work, and easily found a counterpart job after graduation.

Third, "part-time job" should keep your eyes open and improve your own quality. "Part-time job" is actually very risky. In the dye vat of mixed society, it is not easy to do a good job at will. Therefore, in addition to improving one's cultural quality to increase employment opportunities, one should also have a pair of insight into society, have an extra line of defense ideologically, and be wary of people with ulterior motives.
