1. Recruitment targets are retired personnel who have served in the army for two years or more; graduates of special police, command and tactics majors from full-time public security colleges; graduates of sports majors from full-time general colleges; Current (retired) personnel of professional sports teams at the provincial level and above; personnel with the "Safe Operation Certificate for Explosive Engineering Technicians" issued by the Ministry of Public Security.

2 Participate in the written examination. The public examination subjects for the written examination are "Application Theory" and "Administrative Professional Ability Test" (Paper B). All personnel are required to take an additional "Psychological Assessment" test. The assessment results are not converted into scores and are not included in the written test scores. They are only judged as to whether they meet the standards. Those who fail to meet the standards cannot participate in the physical fitness assessment and professional skills test.

3. Personnel applying for the special police examination are required to undergo a physical fitness assessment and professional skills test. The physical fitness test subjects are vertical jump and height touch and 4×10 meter round-trip running. The physical fitness test is not included in the total score. Only those who meet the standards in both subjects can be qualified to participate in the professional skills test.

4 Professional test, the contents of the professional skills test are also different for those who apply for different special police positions. The test subjects for the sniper major are a 12-minute run and 100-meter live-fire shooting; the explosive ordnance disposal major is a 12-minute run and practical operation; the military and police skills major is a 12-minute run and a 400-meter obstacle course for men, and the 800-meter run and a standing three-level frog for women. Jumping; the grappling and fighting majors include the 12-minute run, standing long jump and pull-ups, and the women’s 800-meter run and standing three-level frog jump. The total score of each test subject is 100 points. Those whose score in one subject is less than 60 points will be disqualified from the interview.
