Meicheng Ancient Town is a thousand-year-old town under the jurisdiction of jiande city, Hangzhou, Zhejiang.

Meicheng Ancient Town is located in the east of jiande city, Hangzhou, bordering Wulong Mountain Scenic Resort in the north and Sanjiangkou in the south. Xin 'anjiang is from west to east, and Lanjiang is from south. The smoke is vast and shaped like the word "Ding". Two rivers join Fuchun River here and flow to the East China Sea.

Meicheng Ancient Town has a history of 1700 years, and is the seat of ancient Zhou Mu, Yanzhou and Jiande counties. Du Mu's poem "The farther the water is, the more T-shaped water is divided, and the wintersweet will see February flowers later", while Meng Haoran's poem "How wide the world is, how close the trees are to the sky, and the water is clear and the moon is close!" Described the scenery here.

In the era when water transportation is the main channel, Yanzhou is the only place for Hangzhou to reach southern Anhui. One third of the goods produced in Zhejiang Province need to be transferred here. Our craftsmen in Dongyang also arrived in Anhui through this waterway, creating the brilliance of Huizhou architecture.
