Introduction of scenic spots in Meicheng ancient town

Meicheng Ancient Town is a thousand-year-old town under the jurisdiction of jiande city, Hangzhou, Zhejiang.

Meicheng Ancient Town is located in the east of jiande city, Hangzhou, bordering Wulong Mountain Scenic Resort in the north and Sanjiangkou in the south. Xin 'anjiang is from west to east, and Lanjiang is from south. The smoke is vast and shaped like the word "Ding". Two rivers join Fuchun River here and flow to the East China Sea.

Meicheng Ancient Town has a history of 1700 years, and is the seat of ancient Zhou Mu, Yanzhou and Jiande counties. Du Mu's poem "The farther the water is, the more T-shaped water is divided, and the wintersweet will see February flowers later", while Meng Haoran's poem "How wide the world is, how close the trees are to the sky, and the water is clear and the moon is close!" In the era when water transportation is the main channel, Yanzhou is the only place for Hangzhou to reach southern Anhui. Meihua Town, referred to as Meicheng for short, was originally the elegant name of Yanzhou Prefecture in Zhou Mu, and it was only 1938 that it was confirmed as the official place name of Jiande County.
