Xie Jun is a grandmaster of women's chess.

Xie Jun, 1970,1October 30th, born in Beijing, is a grandmaster of women's chess, a world champion of women's chess, president of Beijing Chess Academy, deputy director of Beijing Xicheng District Education Commission, vice president of Capital Institute of Physical Education, and vice president of Chess Federation. Was awarded the title of "Top Ten Athletes in China". 1998 published his autobiography "Women Playing Chess".

Xie Jun won the women's chess world championship four times in 199 1, 1993, 1999 and 2000. 1998, in 2000 and 2004, she cooperated with her teammates to win the women's team world championship. 199 1, 1992 and 1994 won the title of "Top Ten Athletes in China" for three times.
