What should you pay attention to when giving lectures during recruitment interviews for Chinese teachers?

As far as Chinese subjects are concerned, interviews generally take the form of lectures. When using the form of lecturing, you should pay attention to the following issues:

1. You must have your own understanding of the text and write the lesson manuscript yourself. Some people say that because they just graduated or have no experience, they can’t write or can’t write well. In this case, you have to write it yourself. Only your own manuscript can ensure uniqueness in the interview.

2. When writing lecture notes, you should pay attention to the time allocation for each link. Generally speaking, the lecture lasts about 10 minutes. Don't use up the time too much. It's best to end it one minute early.

3. Don’t say everything, cover everything. Talk about teaching materials, talk about goals, talk about key points and difficulties, talk about teaching methods, talk about learning methods, and talk about writing on the blackboard. If every point is mentioned and applied evenly, then each point is just a scratch on the surface. It is not explained thoroughly and the key points are not highlighted. It is too common to say that the course manuscript has nothing new.

4. Write on the blackboard while talking, and the chalk writing must pass the test. It doesn't matter how beautiful or beautiful the writing is, but it must be standardized and written stroke by stroke. It is recommended to write in regular script instead of running script or even cursive script.

5. Don’t make common sense mistakes. For example, the pronunciation is mispronounced, the spelling is wrong, the lesson type is not correct, or the main links are missing, or even the teaching objectives are missing. These are all flaws and should be avoided.

6. It is said that the lesson manuscript should be memorized. Don’t read from a script, present it in a colloquial manner.

7. When giving a lecture, pay attention to the priority of the intonation, the cadence of the speaking speed, and the transition between links. This will give people a feeling of confidence, calmness and order.

8. Sometimes the judges will ask follow-up questions, and you should answer them calmly. Remember, if there is a problem that you are not very sure about, don’t talk nonsense and seek truth from facts. “If you know something, you know it; if you don’t know it, you don’t know it.” After answering, be humble and ask the judges for correction.

9. The key to lecturing is to improve one's "core lecturing literacy". That is, text interpretation literacy, instructional design literacy, language expression literacy, and "three strokes and one painting" basic skill literacy. If every teacher approaches the subject from these four dimensions, there will be no bad course.
