What is the significance of garbage classification and what attitude should we adopt?

This article may be helpful to you.

Today's society has attached great importance to the sustainable development and reuse of resources, and garbage classification has long been an essential part of it. The cost of landfill is high, and the cost of treating one ton of garbage is about RMB from 200 yuan to 300 yuan. People consume a lot of resources, mass production and consumption, resulting in a lot of waste. Can't we do something about the garbage? In fact, there is a way, and this is garbage sorting. Garbage classification is to put garbage into the source, and make it become a resource again through sorting, cleaning and recycling.

As an industry, garbage recycling has developed rapidly. In many developed countries, recycling industry plays an increasingly important role in the national industrial structure. Take Baltimore, Washington and Richmond as examples. In the past, it cost $40 to recycle 1 ton of garbage. After sorting, these recycled garbage created 5 100 jobs in 1995. In the United States, these three cities are only a small area, and their garbage recycling not only saves the cost of garbage disposal, but also creates a wealth of 500 million US dollars.

Research background

Many people have seen reports on how countries such as Europe, America and Japan successfully implement garbage sorting in newspapers or TV, but what do you think of these reports? Still admire the conscious consciousness of those citizens? Or are you sad about the present situation in Beijing? In fact, many people don't know that Finland, Sweden, the United States and Japan were the first countries to implement garbage sorting. In Beijing, almost everyone knows that garbage should be reduced at the source. Almost everyone suggests that cities should sort their garbage. Perhaps many people don't know that it is recognized that the earliest garbage sorting in the world is Beijing. This is recognized by Germans, French and Japanese. Because in July, 1957, issue 12, there was an article in Beijing Daily called "Garbage should be collected separately". Therefore, "Beijing is the first city of garbage sorting" is recognized by the world.

But what about now? There is no course about environmental protection in our school. We don't know what the profound significance of garbage classification is, and we don't know how to divide garbage. There is no clear sign on the classified trash can that can be seen everywhere in the street and community to tell people the classification method of garbage; In the trash can, there is a lively scene, recyclable and non-recyclable, unattended and unattended. Is the government's propaganda insufficient? Or is the public not conscious enough? Or are the facilities not complete enough? What is the garbage sorting situation in China? What can we learn from the successful implementation of waste sorting in other regions? I want to do a simple study and analysis.

Realization process

First, the opening article.

I chose this topic because of accidental inspiration. Once, I was walking in the street, holding a garbage in my hand, and suddenly found that the traditional garbage can has been replaced by the classified garbage can, which is divided into recyclable garbage and non-recyclable garbage. I was surprised, because the garbage was a plastic bottle, she began to hesitate whether the plastic was recyclable or non-recyclable. I don't know how to throw it, so I want to learn from others. She and I began to hesitate whether plastic was recyclable or non-recyclable. I don't know how to throw it, but I want to learn from others' practice, so I glanced into the trash can and found that almost all the garbage was thrown in casually. I was confused, so I threw it in.

As far as we know, Beijing began to popularize and publicize garbage sorting in the 1990s. However, according to our observation, although classified trash cans can be seen everywhere, we don't know the actual situation of garbage classification, so we have a great interest in garbage classification in Beijing. Therefore, through this seminar, we decided to study this problem.

After I formed the team, the division of labor was clear. And made a detailed plan and wrote the opening report. I am full of confidence in my research.

Second, visit the survey article.

I originally planned to visit more areas, but it turned out to be impossible. The reason is that if we want to visit and investigate, we must contact first. There are not many people we know, and the scope is too large to delimit. And time is not particularly abundant, so I can't squeeze out too much time to conduct research in Beijing. So after listening to the teacher's suggestion, I decided to choose some representative places in and around the school to visit and estimate the overall situation with some situations.

On the first day, we investigated the campus. First look at the trash can. After our inspection of trash cans, we found that some trash cans on campus and playground are classified. However, although there are classified trash cans, the classification situation is not satisfactory, and no one really notices that they are all thrown casually; The trash cans in the teaching building are not classified at all. Next, we interviewed the uncle in charge of garbage collection in the school. He said: all the rubbish in the school is not classified. Every day he puts the garbage into the garbage truck, and then he is responsible for sending it to the garbage station opposite the school every day.

Because when we interviewed him, it happened that he was delivering garbage. So we decided to follow him to the garbage dump temporarily. Garbage stands in the alley opposite the school. Every afternoon, cleaners in several nearby streets will send garbage to this garbage station. I observed that not only our school, but also the garbage sent by the cleaners is not classified, and all the garbage sent is put in the garbage truck. After the interview, they said that they do this every day, putting all the garbage in the garbage truck and sending it to this garbage station. Look at the garbage station again. All the rubbish is put on the ground, and then a large number of cleaners flock to sort the rubbish manually. Their purpose of sorting is only to pick out things that can sell money.

The investigation of the garbage station was very successful. We investigated the actual situation and found the information we wanted.

The next day, we made a survey in a fast food restaurant near our school. The first is KFC. We walked around KFC first, and the trash can was not classified. We interviewed the manager on duty. The manager has a bad attitude and doesn't want to tell us the situation. After several clarifications, when we said that we were not the media, she told us faintly: garbage is not classified, and someone collects it every day. Next, McDonald's. Similarly, McDonald's trash cans are not classified. And when we want to know the classification of garbage from managers. He won't tell us, but he will tell us a symbolic public relations call. The situation in snack bars is even less optimistic, and so is it. Garbage is not classified, and people collect it every day.

On the third day, after interviewing many areas where garbage is not classified, we decided to visit a place with good garbage classification to gain their experience in successfully implementing garbage classification. After the contact of director Zhao of the school, we came to Mahayana Lane in Xicheng District. The garbage sorting in this old community is quite good.

We went directly to the neighborhood Committee, and the director of the neighborhood Committee introduced us to the overall situation of garbage sorting in their community and the award-winning situation. She said: the garbage classification in the community is thoughtful and meticulous, and it is mainly divided into three categories: recyclable garbage, non-recyclable garbage and kitchen waste. Residents can consciously throw garbage into different trash cans. Encourage and publicize the benefits and significance of garbage sorting through questions and answers, distribution of brochures and awards. Every day, someone will collect the sorted garbage. Garbage sorting is not only economical and environmentally friendly, but also brings a convenient and clean environment to residents. After interviewing the director, we interviewed several residents in the courtyard. Except for an old man, everyone said that the garbage in the community was well sorted, which brought a comfortable and clean environment to their lives.

Third, the distribution of questionnaires.

We printed 50 questionnaires and distributed them in schools.

Achievement article

Through this research study, we have a deep understanding of the significance of garbage classification. By investigating the garbage classification around the school, I also have a general understanding of the garbage classification in Beijing.

Through the investigation in schools, fast food restaurants and garbage stations, we found that the garbage sorting situation in Beijing is not optimistic. There are many places where garbage is not classified. Even if there are classified trash cans, many people in many communities don't care. Through the distribution of questionnaires, we made a rough statistics, and nearly half of the people said that they only had a little knowledge of the significance of garbage classification; Nearly 60% of people said that not all of their units or communities classify garbage; Five adults don't know how garbage should be classified; Almost 90% people think that citizens have not established the awareness of garbage classification, which is one of the main factors that lead to the unsuccessful promotion of garbage classification in Beijing. It can be seen that since Beijing began to publicize garbage classification in the 1990s, the significance and methods of garbage classification have not penetrated into the hearts of residents. We believe that this is mainly because the government's propaganda is not enough, which leads to the public's failure to establish such awareness.

Under such circumstances, the garbage classification in Dacheng Lane in Xicheng District is very good. Through an interview with the director of the neighborhood Committee, we have come to such a conclusion and experience on the successful implementation of garbage sorting there.

1) Community facilities must be in place. The classified trash can in Mahayana Lane is very eye-catching. Garbage cans with different colors are used for recyclable garbage, non-recyclable garbage and kitchen waste, so that residents can distinguish clearly and will not make mistakes. Garbage bins are set between different buildings for the convenience of residents.

2) Actively encourage and publicize residents. Through free publicity to residents, Mahayana Lane lets residents deeply understand the significance of garbage classification to our lives, so as to understand the necessity of garbage classification, establish self-awareness and let them know how to classify garbage. In the community, they also engaged in many activities, such as encouraging residents to sort garbage by rewarding washing powder; The enthusiasm of residents has been improved through quiz and competition with prizes. After garbage sorting, there is less garbage in residents' homes, and everything that can be sold is sold, and the environment of the community has also been significantly improved. Garbage sorting, get twice the result with half the effort, not only protects the environment, but also brings a clean environment to our lives. Why not?

3) Active management and perseverance. Every day in Mahayana Lane, there is a special person to recycle the classified garbage, which is good, because residents will not feel that their garbage classification is futile and meaningless. Adhering to the management by special personnel not only makes residents feel the importance of garbage sorting, but also makes this work more concrete.

Through analysis, we found out the reasons for the good garbage classification in Mahayana Lane. We hope that these experiences can also be publicized throughout the city, so that all communities can do a good job in garbage sorting. After all, the environment belongs to everyone, and garbage sorting will benefit the public.

My suggestions for school garbage classification are as follows: First, the significance of garbage classification must be publicized throughout the school, so that teachers and students of the school can have a comprehensive understanding of garbage classification, so that it is possible to consciously put it clearly when there are classified garbage bins. Secondly, the school's classified trash can must be complete, and the classification can even go deep into each class and divide the garbage according to the class. Then put the sorted garbage into the sorting bucket, and then let special people recycle it. More incentive mechanisms should be set up to reward classes and individuals who do well in garbage sorting. Gradually, after people get used to it, they will understand the significance of garbage classification.

This seminar has enabled us to have an in-depth understanding and investigation of garbage classification, increased our knowledge and enhanced our hands-on ability and cooperation ability.

Reflective article

Garbage sorting is the responsibility of society. It is necessary to strengthen publicity, so that more people can understand garbage classification, understand the significance of promoting garbage classification, its impact on the environment and its benefits to future generations. China is a big country, and the quality of garbage sorting affects the environment all over the world. Only by starting from every household can we do this well from the source. We should appeal to friends and relatives around us to support garbage sorting. "Garbage sorting starts with me." Supporting environmental protection gets twice the result with half the effort. In the Olympic year, we should establish the image of China and the capital, and be environmental defenders. Mahayana Lane is well done because the residents there have environmental awareness.

Garbage sorting needs financial support from the government. From sorting plastic bags to garbage sorting, sorting costs a lot of money and manpower than not sorting. Especially after June this year, plastic bags are no longer available for free, and people have to pay for plastic bags for sorting, which is a great challenge for garbage sorting. When people need plastic bags and have to pay for them themselves, are they still willing to spend the money? Should the state subsidize the implementation of garbage sorting? In many places, residents classify and pile up the garbage and send it to the garbage dump, but they don't classify it anymore, but bury it in a unified way, which wastes the residents' hard work. Many people know that after their classified garbage arrives at the garbage station, they will disrupt their garbage and treat it uniformly, so they no longer support garbage sorting. However, if the sorted garbage reaches the big garbage station, there will undoubtedly be more workers than now, which also requires the government to increase investment. Will the government invest so much money when many livelihood problems have not been solved? This is a problem that garbage classification must face.

After reflecting on garbage classification, I want to reflect on and summarize the activities of our group.

Our group's projects are flexible and difficult. But with the efforts of all our classmates, our project has finally come to a successful conclusion. First of all, we think cooperation among team members is very important. When completing a task, we must help each other solve the problem. Before starting the topic selection, we didn't expect such difficulties, but we encountered many obstacles in the process of topic selection, but after discussion in our group and consulting the instructor, we all found better solutions. The research process of the research project made me realize the importance of planning. With a good plan, we can plan our time reasonably and finish the task calmly.

After a semester of hard work, our research topic of garbage classification has finally come to an end. "Garbage sorting" is a simple but learned thing. Doing a good job will make the recycling of resources more convenient; If we don't pay attention to it, the urban environment will become a mess and recycling will become very difficult.

From the beginning to the end of the topic, although many difficulties were encountered, the team members were able to tide over the difficulties with one heart and one mind.

During the study, we visited the garbage station next to the school because of the need. Although it is dirty and smelly, ordinary people can't breathe normally, but we can still stick to it. We have realized the contribution of garbage workers to our urban environment and honed our will.

Fast food restaurant is one of the bases of garbage production. We went to McDonald's and KFC. Although the person in charge there ignored us, in order to complete our project and make the research deeper, we did not hesitate to pester and beat, and maybe we got little information. But we are proud of it.

When we learned that our efforts were praised by the leaders, Mr. Zhao Jizong gave us an opportunity to study deeply. On March 2nd, a group of us came to Dacheng Lane Hutong in Xicheng District to interview the famous "Waste Classification Demonstration Community" in Beijing. All the people living in this community are retired teachers from Xicheng District. They have knowledge and culture, and they know the usefulness of garbage sorting, so garbage sorting is in place. From them, we feel more deeply that "nothing is difficult in the world, nothing is impossible to a willing mind". Walking in their community, looking at rows of garbage bins with clear classification, and living with "garbage classification" for a semester, we really feel cordial. No community does garbage sorting as well as they do!

Back at school, we sent a questionnaire to ask students about their cognition of multi-waste classification. The findings will contribute to our final report.

Through this research study, I feel the strength of unity and the difficulty of studying one thing. The experience of this study will be integrated into future studies, making this study more meaningful!

Through this research project, I have a deeper understanding of the significance and importance of garbage classification.

I think the feasibility of recycling garbage by classification exists, but it is not great. Although the idea is good, it has not reached universality, even in the process of individual communities. Many people don't realize that garbage sorting is directly related to our vital interests. Although there are many classified trash cans on the street, I haven't seen many people who can really classify and throw garbage. In addition, according to the custom of China people, all recyclable and non-recyclable garbage is packed in a plastic bag. Who can divide his home into two plastic bags? Unless a policy is formulated to punish those who throw garbage without classification, it is not feasible to follow the way of our national management department. Therefore, on the whole, the national quality needs to be improved.

In recent years, many cities have no choice but to cancel the classification of garbage bins. In this regard, the vast majority of people believe that canceling the classification of new garbage bins lacks long-term consideration. Some people think that the greatest significance of garbage classification at this stage lies not in how much garbage is recycled, but in educating and reminding the public and enhancing everyone's awareness of environmental protection.

We can prepare different garbage bags to collect waste paper, plastic, packaging boxes, kitchen waste and so on. You may feel a little troublesome at first, but you will develop this good habit over time. It is not only our duty to separate and recycle garbage every day, but also conducive to cultivating our habit and consciousness of caring for the environment.
