Where is Chazhu Village?

Chashan Zhuhai Street, Yongchuan District, Chongqing Chashan Zhuhai Street is a tourist street with a national forest park-Chashan Zhuhai Scenic Area. Chazhu Village is located in the core area of Chashan Bamboo Sea Scenic Area, with 5,000 mu of contiguous tea gardens and 20,000 mu of vast bamboo sea. The natural landscape nurtured by tea and bamboo is well known. In addition, the highest concentration of negative oxygen ions in China reaches 28,400 per cubic meter, so it is called "natural oxygen bar". At the same time, there are many cultural landscapes in Chazhu Village, such as the martial arts film "House of Flying Daggers" directed by the famous director Zhang Yimou, the only location shooting base in China, the "Yongchuan Xiuya" tea science and technology sightseeing demonstration base, Tianbao Village, an ancient village site, and an antique commercial and cultural street. Here, you can not only enjoy the folk tea customs, tea art and Sichuan Opera performances, but also feel the profoundness of China's traditional culture, appreciate the vastness of the bamboo sea, enjoy the pleasure of picking tea and making tea, drink tea wine, taste tea banquets, bamboo banquets and other special foods, and also buy fresh delicacies and tea and bamboo series of special tourist commodities, thus becoming a veritable tourist village.

Chazhu Village is adjacent to Zongba Community, Anxi Village, Xuanhua Village, Yunfeng Village, Guihua Village, Daqiao Village and Chayuan Village.

On 20th11July15th, Chazhu Village was selected as the second batch of famous towns (villages) with national characteristics.

There are tourist attractions such as Chashan Bamboo Sea National Forest Park, Chongqing Wildlife World, Chongqing Weixing Lake, Xianghai Hot Spring and Yongchuan Songshui Ancient Town near Chazhu Village, and there are specialties such as Yongchuan preserved egg, Yongchuan splash, Yongchuan lobster sauce, Yongchuan Xiuya and Wu Jian watermelon.
