The Teaching Setup of Chulan Middle School in Suzhou

Chulan Middle School is the only school in northern Anhui Province that offers both English and Russian teaching. Russian students 1200, teaching classes 13, and Russian full-time teachers 6, all with undergraduate degrees. In order to improve the running level of our Russian school, we established a cooperative school with Jilin Russian Institute in June 2004. From June 6 to February 2004, leaders of Jilin Russian Institute and foreign experts came to our school to give lectures. The teaching atmosphere is lively, students are interested in learning, speak enthusiastically and communicate boldly with foreign experts. The effect is very good. The report not only exercises students' oral and listening skills, but also encourages more Russian students to learn Russian with confidence. In the past 20 years, a large number of Russian talents have been sent to colleges and universities, and graduates have spread all over the country and embassies abroad. Many of them have become high-tech elites or outstanding national cadres.
