Physical geography of Changtu town

Changtu Town is located between east longitude 123 32'- 124 26' and north latitude 42 23'-43 29', which is the best corn planting area in the world. Located in the northernmost part of Tieling City, Liaoning Province, it is the junction of Liaoning, Jilin and Inner Mongolia.

The remaining veins of Changbai Mountain extend to the southeast, and Liaohe River and Zhaosutai River nourish fertile soil.

Changtu County is the intersection of beijing-harbin railway, Harbin-Dalian Expressway and National Highway 102. It is 30 kilometers away from Shenyang Taoxian Airport102, 300 kilometers away from Yingkou Port, 500 kilometers away from Dalian Port and 0/50 kilometers away from Changchun/KLOC-0. Convenient transportation and convenient roads.

There are 17 administrative villages, 136 villagers' groups, 9 community neighborhood committees and 38 residents' groups in the town, with a total of 53,020 households and a total population of16,000, including 42,000 agricultural population, 9,000 urban population, 28,000 floating population and 620,000 labor force.
