Registration conditions of pharmacist's license

The conditions for applying for a licensed pharmacist's license are as follows:

1. He has obtained a technical secondary school degree in pharmacy and worked as a pharmacist for 7 years.

2. Obtain a college degree in pharmacy and have worked as a pharmacist for 6 years.

3. Obtain a bachelor's degree in pharmacy and have worked as a pharmacist for 4 years.

4. Obtain a master's degree in pharmacy and have worked as a pharmacist for 2 years.

5. Get a doctorate in pharmacy.

Licensed pharmacists refer to pharmaceutical technicians who have passed the national unified examination, obtained the Professional Qualification Certificate of Licensed Pharmacists in People's Republic of China (PRC), and registered to practice in units that need to provide pharmaceutical services such as drug production, management and use.

Licensed pharmacists must strictly abide by the Drug Administration Law of People's Republic of China (PRC) and the laws and policies of the state on drug research and development, production, management and use.

Licensed pharmacists have the responsibility to put forward suggestions, stop and refuse to carry out acts or decisions that violate the Drug Administration Law of People's Republic of China (PRC) and relevant laws and regulations, and report to the local departments in charge of drug supervision and administration.

Licensed pharmacists are responsible for the supervision and management of drug quality within the scope of practice, participate in the formulation and implementation of the total quality management system for drugs, and participate in the handling of violations within the unit.

Licensed pharmacists are responsible for the review and deployment of prescriptions, providing medication consultation and information, guiding rational drug use, and carrying out clinical pharmacy work such as therapeutic drug monitoring and drug efficacy evaluation.

A pharmaceutical retail enterprise shall publicize the Licensed Pharmacist Registration Certificate in a prominent position, and list the licensed pharmacists who are practicing on the job. When licensed pharmacists are not on duty, they should be publicized in an eye-catching way and stop selling prescription drugs and Class A over-the-counter drugs.

Licensed pharmacists should wear work cards in accordance with relevant regulations when practicing. Licensed pharmacists should receive continuing education, update their professional knowledge and improve their professional level in accordance with the relevant provisions of the national continuing education for professional and technical personnel. The state encourages licensed pharmacists to participate in practical training.
