Taking the opportunity of supporting the development of China's automobile industry, Flowserve Group entered the China market as early as 1988, and was one of the first international lubricant companies to invest and set up factories in China.

In 2004, FOSS Shanghai, FOSS Yingkou and two wholly-owned subsidiaries were integrated into FOSS China. On February 22nd, 2006, FOSS Lubricants (China) Co., Ltd. was established, which marked that FOSS Group's development in China entered a new stage. With three well-laid lubricant companies as production bases, 20 overseas offices in key cities in China as marketing frontiers, and more than 300 special dealers as long-term strategic partners, we will fully explore the booming middle and high-grade lubricant market in China.

At present, FOSS China is the most important lubricant supplier in China's automobile manufacturing industry, occupying a leading position in the domestic OEM oil market, and its market share has always remained above 20%. FOSS China has successively provided initial engine oil, after-sales service oil and gear oil for famous automobile enterprises such as Beijing Benz, Shanghai Volkswagen, FAW-Volkswagen, Shanghai GM, Southeast Automobile, SAIC Chery and Geely Group. At the same time, it also provides these companies with oil for production and processing and oil for equipment. In the iron and steel industry, FOSS China provides special oil products such as metalworking oil and equipment oil for famous domestic iron and steel enterprises such as Baosteel, Angang, WISCO, Tangshan Steel and Benxi Steel.
