Construction time of Conghua Metro No. 42

The construction of the subway will start in 2019.

Guangzhou Conghua Line 42 officially started construction in December 2019, and preliminary survey and design work has been completed. According to relevant departments, the construction of this line will adopt the method of "build first and then expand", that is, the section from Conghua Bus Terminal to Longdong will be constructed first, and then expanded to Guangzhou South Railway Station.

Guangzhou Conghua Line 42 has 25 stations, including 5 transfer stations. The station design will fully consider humanization and convenience, and will also reflect regional cultural characteristics. It is reported that the station will adopt the "green building" concept, focus on energy conservation and emission reduction, and create an environmentally friendly subway system.
