Where is Kaiyang?

Kaiyang County, which belongs to Guiyang City, Guizhou Province, is located in the hinterland of central Guizhou, with a total area of 2,026 square kilometers. It governs 6 towns and 10 townships with a total population of 430,000 (20 13). It is 66 kilometers away from Guiyang, the provincial capital, and 66 kilometers away from Zunyi 1 10, a historic city, and is located in the sub-central area connecting Guiyang and Zunyi. The forest coverage rate reached 52.92%, ranking first in Guizhou. It has the reputation of "Hometown of Prose Poetry in China", "Hometown of Selenium-enriched Agricultural Products in China", "Green Phosphorus Capital in China" and "Karst Ecological World Park". It is the first demonstration base county of phosphorus and coal chemical industry in circular economy in China and a strong economic county in Guizhou Province. Kaiyang County has a high-quality and rich mineral reserve of 392 million tons, which is one of the three famous phosphate producing areas in China, and is also called "the three Yang Kaitai" with Xiangyang in Hubei and Kunyang in Yunnan.
