? On the night of the 27th, there was a sudden thunder and lightning, and it rained heavily. It seems that people haven't seen rain for a long time, and they all tell each other and applaud.

? After the heavy rain, the light rain dripped, as if the spring rain moistened the seedlings, the air was unusually fresh, the earth seemed to have taken a bath, and the temperature suddenly dropped to 30 degrees. How comfortable it is to be cool

The next morning, I went to Xi 'an School for the Blind and Deaf, where I had retired for five years.

As a matter of fact, my work will be finished soon in the reception room. But I didn't go home. I went to the school gate and revisited every corner of the school. After more than 30 years of special education, I don't know how much sweat and footprints I have left here, but today I feel particularly comfortable, especially feeling, and I feel that the school is particularly cordial.

? The school is just on summer vacation, and there is no one on campus. After the rain, the campus was unusually quiet and the air was particularly fresh. I habitually walked to the front of the student dormitory. This is the Qiming Building in our school, which was donated by Taiwan Province compatriot Mr. Tao Junyue. Because his lover's name is Gao, and this school happened to be built for blind students, he named this building Lou.

I looked up, Qi Ming building is still so clean and bright. The white tiles are sparkling, and the middle is inlaid with big red tiles, which are like bright red scarves on the students' chests, especially dazzling in the sun.

? Remember to have a meeting with students here, and take students here to write, observe and describe the building many times. The purpose is to educate and motivate students to study hard, know how to be grateful and repay the society.

Opposite the Qi Ming Building is the teaching building, which has four floors, including the dumb department, junior year, pastry class, beauty salon class, automobile beauty class, massage class for blind students and so on.

I don't know how many stupid classes I have taken here. Four or five cycles of junior high school, senior high school entrance examination class, deaf-mute speech rehabilitation class ...

Bypass the teaching building and come to the back garden in front of the school cafeteria. There, trees are lush and willow branches are in full bloom. Osmanthus trees and pine trees are taller and stronger than before. Seems to be waving to an old teacher like me.

? The grass in the garden is still so green, and the little Chinese rose is still so red, as if deaf-mute pupils are greeting me, because I have taught many children oral English, flowers, grass, trees and so on here.

Finally, we came to the playground. After the rain, the colored plastic runway is particularly bright, like a beautiful colored carpet. The basketball court, the badminton court in the middle, the stands next to the playground, the promenade and the big screen TV are particularly attractive. The rostrum is inlaid with eight bright scarlet letters: "Know sincerity, know diligence, know thinking, know and do".

This is the place where the school raises the national flag, talks, gathers, exercises and extracurricular activities under the national flag.

Only the old Gleditsia sinensis tree near the playground still stands there quietly. After years of selfless dedication, it is still sheltering the children from the rain in obscurity. ...

Cross the playground and come to the garden downstairs of my house. This is the school playground. There are leisure armchairs under the green palm trees, which are undoubtedly for students to study and rest. The winding path was also paved with pebbles, and a large circular fountain was built. A new stone wall was built in the middle of the gate, with big red Chinese characters "Struggle" and Braille dots written on it.

Walking, my heart is surging, my thoughts are myriad, and my thoughts are connected. For decades, the old teachers of Xi 'an School for the Blind and the Deaf have influenced me with their obscure dedication. The old masters taught me by hand, and the leaders of all walks of life made me old. I remember the school motto of "love first, dedication first". He devoted himself to his work and took root in the front of special education in obscurity for 35 years until his glorious retirement on 20 12.

With the support of leaders from all walks of life, the cooperation and support of colleagues, and my years of efforts, I have trained a batch of new teachers on the special education front to become the backbone of deaf schools, and trained a batch of deaf students to integrate into society and become useful talents who are constantly striving for self-improvement.
