Are Yantai Railway Station and high-speed railway station in the same location?

Yantai has two railway stations, Yantai Station and Yantai South Station. Both stations have high-speed trains.

Introduction to Yantai Station:

Yantai Railway Station was built in 1956 with a design scale of five stations and eight lines. Located in Zhifu District, Yantai City, Shandong Province, it belongs to Jinan Railway Bureau. Now it is a first-class passenger and freight station and the terminal of Lan Yan Railway.

Bus routes: No.3 inner ring, No.3 outer ring, No.4, No.8, No.9, 10,1,12. 2 1 south line, 42, 43, 44, 47, 49, 58, 6 1, and there are taxis or buses at the exit.

Introduction to Yantai South Railway Station:

Located in Qujiazhuang Village, lai shan, Yantai City, Shandong Province, the planned construction area is about 10000 square meters, and there are two main platforms with a height of1.25m.. With Yantai South Station as the center, the rapid development of surrounding areas will be promoted through the development of commercial and economic growth poles. The project was completed in the second half of 20 14. With the opening of Qingrong Wei Yan Metro, Yantai South Station was officially opened.

Yantai South Station site:

The intercity railway has seven stations in Yantai, namely Laiyang, Haiyang North, Taocun North, Yantai South, Mu Ping, Guanzhuang and Yantai Station, of which the first six stations are newly built. Among the newly-built stations, Haiyang North Station is located in the north of Liujiayao Village, Xujiadian Town, Haiyang City, Taocun North Station is located in the east of Caobu Village, Taocun Town, Qixia City, Yantai South Station is located in the north of Qujiazhuang Village, Laishan Development Zone, Mu Ping Station is located in the north of Lugezhuang Village, Dayao Town, Muping District, Guanzhuang Station is located in the west of Guanzhuang Village, Huang Wu Office, Zhifu District, and Laiyang Station is built side by side with existing railways.

Among the newly-built stations, Yantai South Station ranks first with 1000 square meters, Laiyang Station ranks second with 9,000 square meters, Muping Station is 5,000 square meters, and Haiyang, Taocun North and Guanzhuang Stations are 3,000, 2,500 and 2,500 square meters respectively. The reason why Yantai South Railway Station is built in a relatively large area is because it is located on the trunk line of the urban railway and is the only stop in and out of Yantai in all directions.

In order to give full play to the driving role of intercity railway, all localities will also design the square in front of the station and its surrounding supporting facilities according to the location, scale and characteristics of the subway station building.

Bus information:

The terminal of No.45 Road (Xinqiao to Dongmajiadu) was adjusted to Yantai South Station. After the adjustment, the first section of Jindu Road South is no longer in operation, and the west section of Lvsida Road, Shanhai South Road to Yantai South Station.

The terminal of No.567 Road (Mu Ping Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine to Oriental Ocean Science and Technology Building) was adjusted to Yantai South Station. After adjustment, continue to run at the original terminal along Aucma Street, Jerry Road and Shanhai South Road to Yantai South Station.

Yantai South Station is added to the 86-way midway station (from North Square of Railway Station to Qujiazhuang).
