Dingyuan Salt Mine is the only salt-making enterprise in Anhui Province, which was founded in 1987. Since 1990 was put into production, it has developed rapidly. At present, it has formed a design capacity of 330,000 tons, and the actual capacity can reach 400,000-500,000 tons. There are nearly 2400 employees and 240 engineers and technicians.

It mainly produces nearly 30 varieties of refined salt, nutrition and health care salt, daily salt, industrial salt, animal husbandry salt and breeding salt.
