China Institute of Information and Communication Technology (hereinafter referred to as "China ICT Institute") is a scientific research institution directly under the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology of the People's Republic of China. It is the most important supporting unit in the field of information and communication (ICT) and the main supporting unit in the field of comprehensive policies of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology. China Institute of Information and Communication is committed to the scientific research work on major strategies, planning, technology, standards, testing and certification for the development of China's information and communication industry. Among them, the project "Key Technologies and Applications of the Fourth Generation Mobile Communication System (TD-LTE)" won the 20 17 National Science and Technology Progress Award.
