1998, Ms. Bao Liping, the chairman of Nanjing Jinken Construction and Installation Engineering Co., Ltd., began preparations.

In 2002, it was standardized by the Ministry of Education and renamed as Jinken Vocational and Technical College.

In 2006, Jinken Technical School was formally established.
