What is the relationship between Sumitomo Electrician and Sumitomo?

Sumitomo Electric Industry Co., Ltd. was established in 1897, formerly known as Sumitomo Copper Extension Factory. Sumitomo Electric established "automobile", "information communication", "electronics" and "industrial raw materials" based on the manufacturing technology of copper wire (bare copper wire). There are about 400 affiliated companies in Japan and other countries and regions, collectively known as Sumitomo Electric Group.
