I. Overview of Shanwei Campus of South China Normal University

Shanwei Campus of South China Normal University, as the youngest campus of the school, is a major decision-making arrangement made by Guangdong Provincial Party Committee and provincial government to fill the shortcomings in the development of higher education in eastern and western Guangdong. It is an important part of the school-running system of "one school, three places and four schools" and the first undergraduate university in Shanwei, an old revolutionary base area. It is also the finale of the full coverage of 2 1 undergraduate colleges in the province, which has important historical and practical significance.

The school will make every effort to provide strong support for the high starting point, high standard and high-quality development of Shanwei Campus, help freshmen grow up healthily, and make joint efforts to build the campus into a growth pole of high-level universities, a demonstration area of innovative universities and a bridgehead serving Shanwei and eastern Guangdong.

On the morning of August 28th, 20021year, the start-up area of Shanwei Campus, the first undergraduate university in Shanwei City, was fully built and put into use.

Second, the construction of teaching staff

Shanwei Campus insists on recruiting, training and managing teachers in accordance with the school's "unified standards, unified procedures and unified requirements". By selecting discipline and professional leaders, it builds an inter-school teacher exchange mechanism and shares high-quality teaching resources, and is committed to building a high-quality professional teacher team with exquisite business, a combination of full-time and part-time jobs and a reasonable echelon. In 20021year, there are about 140 faculty members, reaching 460 in 2025 and 1000 in 2030.

Third, the campus environment

Huashi Shanwei Campus is located in Magong Street, Shanwei City, and built by the seaside, with beautiful natural scenery and convenient transportation. Covering an area of about 2000 mu, it will be built in three phases, of which the first phase covers an area of about 948 mu.

The construction of three dormitory buildings, 1 teaching building, 1 canteen, 12 standard basketball court, 10 badminton court and healthy jogging trail in the campus has been completed, which can fully meet the teaching activities and daily life needs of the first batch of teachers and students after the start of school.
